Speech Language Therapy
Empowering Communication for Children with Autism
At Autism From The Start, we understand that communication is a vital part of a child’s development, and for children with autism, it can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why our Speech-Language Therapy program is designed to help children develop their communication skills in ways that align with their unique strengths and needs.
Led by our dedicated speech-language pathologist, Hannah Spriggs, our program focuses on enhancing language development, improving speech clarity, and fostering meaningful social interactions. Through evidence-based interventions and personalized strategies, we empower children to express themselves with confidence and strengthen their ability to connect with others.

Why Early Speech-Language Intervention Matters
Research shows that early intervention in speech and language development leads to greater long-term success in communication, learning, and socialization. With the right support, children with autism can:
Develop stronger verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Reduce frustration related to communication difficulties.
Gain confidence in expressing their needs, thoughts, and emotions.
Strengthen relationships with family, teachers, and peers.
By addressing communication challenges early, we set children up for success in all areas of life.
