At Autism from the Start®, we believe the environment in which we learn is just as important as the clinical therapy we provide. Research supports the benefits of having a purposeful, natural and cozy space for all: adults and children.
A Place to Call Home
We invest in creating intentionally-designed spaces that are warm and welcoming. We call our buildings “Children’s Houses” (a term borrowed from Montessori schools) because they’re designed for children. We want our children to play and learn in a space they love.
2 Children’s Houses, 1 Family”
We now have two Children’s Houses – Lenexa (the original location) and Shawnee (our newest location). We are proud to open our Shawnee house because wait lists for services can be months long, and we know that time is valuable. Two locations means that we’re able to serve twice as many families in our community.
